Fox Run Covid Vax and Testing Site to Close After Dec. 16th

Updated: Nov 21, 2022

"The incredible efforts of everyone who volunteered and worked with us throughout the sustained Covid response have protected and supported our community in countless ways. We are very thankful for your support during these challenging times.

However, due to a lack of funding, locations operated by Calvert County Health Department are no longer able to function as routine Covid vaccination and PCR testing centers. We will cease offering Covid vaccinations and PCR testing at our locations (including Fox Run), and via the Mobile Outreach Van, after December 16th.

All local pharmacies and most primary care providers offer Covid vaccinations.

PCR testing is available at most primary care providers, and many pharmacies and urgent care centers. It is especially important that symptomatic individuals be tested by a healthcare provider, who can follow up with treatment as needed.

We will continue our partnerships with local community contacts to offer rapid, at-home-tests for distribution, as well as PPE for community partners.

If you are still in need of primary Covid vaccination, Bivalent booster, or PCR testing, please visit to find an appointment through December 16th, 2022.

Calvert County Health Department is grateful to our community for their collaboration in our efforts to keep Calvert County healthy and safe."
